Known as the the Most Innovative New Product Awards (MIP’s), the event will be produced by CONNECT.org and will feature the video presentations of Passage Productions, recognized as the regional leaders in video and corporate media production.

The event will celebrate another extraordinary group of entrepreneurs for the 22nd year. Over 800 business executives, entrepreneurs and academics will be in attendance to witness the announcement of the winners and network among the finalist products on display in the exhibit hall.

With a month to go before May’s Torah celebration for the San Diego Jewish Academy and community, Passage Productions reports a successful year-long archiving of key events leading up to the Torah completion.

SDJA chose Passage Productions to archive several month of documentary-style footage of key milestones in the Torah’s development, and will release the video shortly after the May celebration. Several events had been captured at the academy involving students and staff, along with private home celebrations and religious functions.

The event is typically a who’s who among breakthrough entrepreneurs, often helping to launch  products that have  made  global impact in the  areas of medicine,  defense and biochem. A mixture of businessmen, scientists and innovators will be in attendance at this year’s event, to be held in December 2009. More details to be released.

CleanTECH San Diego collaborates with Passage Productions to produce an advanced Powerpoint-style presentation, complete with design and video. In attendance at the Economic Summit held at the Civic Center, downtown San Diego, were Mayor Jerry Sanders and the business and regional economic development leaders.

Santarus Pharmaceuticals (San Diego, California) chose a humorous approach to presenting everyday operations through a series of videos produced by Passage Productions.

Through individual interviews, employee skits and crafty camera work, Passage compiled stories from executives and employees to present at the annual  company event on March 3, 2009.

Filmed February 12-13, Santarus noted that their decision to go with Passage Productions was based upon Passage’s ability to produce a specific, stylized video quickly and through constructive collaboration.

Passage Productions produced the annual tribute video presentation that was presented at Every Child 2009 for the San Diego Jewish Academy.

Honoring Carol and Rick Kornfeld, and Theresa Dupuis and Gary Kornfeld, the Every Child Annual Campaign benefits academy students every day by helping to bridge the gap between tuition revenue and annual operating expenses, and by supporting a strong tuition assistance program.

The video presentation was a retrospective of the years of service by the four honorees, which included photographs and interviews of members of the academy staff, friends, executives of the United Jewish Federation of San Diego, and Jewish Family Services of San Diego.

The video presentation is the second SDJA tribute video produced by Passage Productions, the first being a “It’s a Wonderful Life”-themed video in honor of Karen and Glen Doshay.
