Solar Power International 2008 concluded October 16 with a successful attendance of nearly 23,000 participants, including a keynote address by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. CleanTECH San Diego and Passage Productions presented a regional spotlight video containing select clean technology innovators in the areas of wind, biofuel, solar, water and algae research.
CleanTECH San Diego’s event was held at the Ultimate Skybox above the Cox Communications DiamondView Tower’s, the home of the Channel 4 studios. Passage Productions facilitated the High Definition video production with interviews held at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla, in association with Holly Smithson, Vice President CleanTECH San Diego. A looping sponsor video was also produced to recognize related sponsors.
Through an unprecedented collaborative effort, the evening’s events included the Passage Productions video presentation and sponsor slate videos as produced with the cooperation of the City of San Diego, SDG&E, Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UCSD, The City of Chula Vista, Synthetic Genomics Inc., General Atomics, Invenergy, Black Mountain Ranch, Kyocera, Siliken Renewable Energy, Sempra Energy, Eurus, Finistere Partners, San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation, Connect.org, Clean Tech Energy Inc., Qualcomm, Latham & Watkins, HP and Cox Communications.

Am impressed to the ‘Governor” there at the event. Samrt man. Wish I could have gone but schedule conflict. Nice blog and thanks for the update/info. Glad to see it is now becoming mainstream to endorse or be associated with renewable energy..especially solar power
