Passage Productions has been through the fire…literally. Monday August 20th, Michael Romero and Gulliver Parascandolo were the first responders to a 7Am call that smoke was coming out of our building. When we arrived, we discovered the entire building was filled with smoke.
Not knowing where the smoke originated, we frantically (and cautiously) made our way through the haze. We traced the source to an area above our dropped ceiling tiles. Climbing up the walls, we pushed the ceiling tiles aside to reveal the flames in our rafters!!! Michael grabbed the fire extinguisher and doused the flames, knocking out further threat.
The San Diego Fire Department. arrived to make sure the fire was extinguished. Four fire trucks and tons of smoke damage later, our building was cleared for us to re-enter. As it turned out, we had arrived just in time. Any later and our offices would have been toast.
Funny footnote: we worked for the next two weeks wearing facemasks
