As May comes to a close, the entire Passage Productions visual FX team is working triple-time to finish our latest music video project: “Made Myself Invisible” by the Latin supergroup Elan. This is one of the most FX intensive and visually stunning pieces Passage has undertaken this year.
As the name of the song implies, the theme is “Invisible”. Without disclosing too much until the video’s release, we will say that we are using several groundbreaking techniques to blur the line between visible and invisible.
Director Gulliver Parascandolo commented,”The toughest challenge for any director orchestrating such an effects driven production, is balancing the visuals and the message of the song. It’s easy to get lost in the visuals and forget that the song’s message is what’s going to connect with the audience. So everything you do should support the song. Not the other way around.”
This is the forth music video Passage Productions has produced for Elan. Passage’s previous efforts have been landed Elan on several top-10 music video slots, including a special Latin Grammy for the #1 Music video of 2006 in Mexico for “This Fools Life”.

Post-production of “Made Myself Invisible” should be completed the first week of June.
Honoring Bill Rastetter, founder of Biogen-IDEC, Passage Productions helped to present the CONNECT Hall of Fame Award. Attended by 700 of San Diego’s most influential business leaders, the Hall of Fame presentation included a retrospective of Rastetter’s contributions to the world of biotechnology through film, photo and video presentation. Congrats to Bill and CONNECT for another successful production.
